In these difficult times we would first like to say how incredibly proud we are of our staff. They have adapted to an extremely difficult and ever changing crisis on a daily basis. They are committed, as are we , to ensure medication needs continue to be met in the community. To this end we made the difficult decision in March to split our staff into two distinct teams who do not cross over. This will allow one team to continue working should we have an illness among our staff. Please pray we do not. The division of our staff has led to fewer people working on each shift, increasing the load . If at all possible please give us 24 hours notice. We stay several hours in the evening to complete orders from the day. If you've been in our store in recent weeks you will have noticed plastic sheeting installed to provide a barrier between staff and the public, this is a temporary solution as we have plans to build more permanent Plexiglass with a local supplier. You may have also noticed we have closed off sections our store. We sincerely apologize for this as we have had some dissatisfied customers and this is not our intent. For everyone’s safety we are trying to keep customer visits short and purchases to essential items only. Each time an item is picked up or touched becomes a potential risk to everyone. So please understand we are doing our best to keep safe and remain open to serve you. You will also note our staff wearing masks and gloves. A major reason for this is that adequate social distancing is not possible in our long narrow workspace and cash area. This helps to protect us and you. Thank you to all our Customers for your continued support understanding in these difficult times St George Pharmacy
